The movement is all about getting oneself from one point to another as quickly and efficiently as possible. Le parkour is sometimes abbreviated as PK.

Le parkour involves endless training as well as martial arts and the way you think. The movements involved are often hard to describe to those who are new to this type of sport.

There are also many names given to different types of movements such as cat pass, dyno, dash vault, underbar and wallpass. If you still are not sure what the movements are all about, you may be interested to watch countless Youtube videos in which superhero-like athletes scramble, climb, leap and bound through various urban setting. They are also those who love challenges like parking garage or apartment buildings to perfect their skills.

Even though this may be an interesting sport for anyone to try, one should be prepared of the injuries that comes with practicing this type of outdoor sport. If you are willing to learn and put an effort that is required of you, you may be able to get the movements right in no time. You will need to practice a lot too to be able to do most of the movements outdoor.
