Vacationing in the Europe has changed a great deal over the years and if you should decide to camp in France you will not be disappointed. You will find a great many very well equipped facilities. Relaxing and being entertained is easy when you are in France, they cater for a huge tourist industry, and many very attractive camp sites in both country and coastal setting are available. Moving from site to site when you are camping is also easy, you just pack up and move to a newer more beautiful place.

Well maintained and organized campsites in France provide campers with tons of facilities to make their stay a pleasant one, and they are very good value for money too. If you are careful how you choose your site when you camp in France, you should be able to find a good one that will allow you access to the coastline and the countryside, so that you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

All areas of France cater for campers, from the Alps to the Vendee, and even the Cote d’Azure! Take Granny and Granpa with you as well as the kids, and make it a real family holiday.

Take for instance the coast of Gascony and Royan, these areas are famous for long sandy beaches, high dunes, and even pine forests, a strange eclectic mixture of landscapes. The forest of La Coubre surround this area, making it extremely picturesque, and the Island of Oléron, with its ancient citadel may be reach by bridge, this isle also has excellent beaches.

Great seafood and wine are served in the many restaurants that cater to families and if you save money camping, then you can eat out with the best of them. No cooking for you! If you really want to taste some good wines, a visit to the Médoc peninsula is highly recommended when you visit the Royan.

Just south of Bordeaux, you also find one of the most important oyster farming regions in the whole of France. Yes oysters are farmed, but perhaps in not the conventional sense! If you visit this area, leave the kids to organized camp site activities and take time out to sample the wines, this is an outing you will never forget.

Everyone will want to be present the first full week in October while the Balloon Fiesta is going on. For 9 full days there are balloons flying over the sky of Albuquerque in a brilliant display of the more than 700 balloons that participate in the event.

Including over three hundred resident balloonists from around the Albuquerque area everyone will be able to observe balloons throughout your visit. In fact, you can usually book a excursion to go up on one from one of the many baloonist in the area and see the wonder of the area from the sky.

If you arrive for the Balloon Fiesta be sure to stick around in the evening so you can see Balloon “Glowdeos”. This is where the balloonists’ fire up their propane burners to inflate the balloons against the dark sky which makes the whole area aglow with psychedelic light bulbs! There are also different styles of some of the balloons that you will appreciate seeing. There are dinosaurs, bumble bees, flowers, a stage coach and cow jumping over the moon. While you are in the area make sure to stop at the International Balloon Museum one of the best New Mexico attractions. Everyone will be able to learn about ballooning, the science, culture, history, sport and art of the flights while you are visiting the Museum. It’s easy to find since it is right on the edge of the field.

The cost of admission is reasonable so you won’t have to select just one event, you will be able to check out many and always have enough money to eat while at the park. There are food vendors throughout the city to take care of your hunger pains while you are there.

Because you are going to be attending in October you are going to want a jacket for the mornings. It will be around 40 degrees during the morning flights and warm up to around seventy as the day goes on. Dress in layers to be able to shed some when you get to warm.
