If you and your family love to sleep under the stars, then you will find that camping in PA and NJ may be just the thing that you are looking for. People have different ideas of what a fun camping trip is.

Some people want to find the most remote spot in the woods pitch a tent and live off the resources of the land for several days. Others believe that camping is done around other activities like hunting, kayaking and fishing.

Many families have a favorite campground that they go to every year and have developed small communities with other vacationing families.

You can have the best of both worlds in New Jersey. You can stay in a wonderful wooded area  with trees and lakes and then you go and enjoy the beaches and boardwalks of the Jersey  shore. There are a few campgrounds that are located near the Great Adventure theme park, so  you and the family can stay a few days and play.

It does not matter how you and your family define camping because there is something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a cheap getaway for you and the kids or you want to totally escape the technologically advanced world of today, know that there is a spot for you to plunk down a tent and just be for a while.

Camping In California Is A Wondrous Getaway

Camping in California is a blast. California is known for its famous state and national parks. The local attractions have tourists keep coming back. When you are camping in California, you will create memories that will last a life time. You will experience the scenic beauty California has to offer.

For the active individual, many of the camp sites offer activities for all ages. You can go hiking, swimming, fishing, etc. Bring your family and friends and have an experience of a life time. Go horseback riding, biking, mountain climbing, swimming, fishing, and more. If you want to do nothing, there is no better place for it. Relax the peaceful outdoors while soaking in the sun and fresh air. If you are an ocean lover, the beach is not far. If you can’t get enough of the beach, you will love camping at the beach grounds.

California is well-known for its diversity, in so many aspects. And that very well applies to the camping sites too. Enjoy camping at a destination of your choice. You can go camping at the beaches, the mountains, state or national parks, deserts, lakes, country, the city, etc.

Make your selection according to your climate preference. If you are visiting the southern California, the local attractions are unending. On some crazy days, you may even find the local natives wearing shorts and tank tops in the middle of October! Where else in the world can you see that?

But if you are not up to that, you can always go to one of the famous deserts (like Palm Springs) and enjoy your time there. They are famous for their golf courses and sunny weather. You might find the deserts to be warmer. And the pools and Jacuzzis are kept warm.

In the spring and fall, both regions of California seem to be equally gorgeous. Being outdoors is like none other. During those times are perfect to enjoy all the fun activities the camping sites have to offer and get the full experience. If you do not like scorching hot summer weather, take a trip up north where it is still sunny yet cool. The bay area weather around winter time is beautiful. It is sunny and slightly warm, but at night, it is pleasantly cool.

Renting an RV and finding a park is what most people tend to do when camping. The art of camping in modern times makes it more comfortable. Some people like to do it the old fashioned way and rough it. It seems nobody ever sleeps in tents anymore. We’ve become too spoiled.

Camping In Pennsylvania

The next time you go camping in Pennsylvania (PA) there are some things you should consider. When you think of camping and the outdoors most think of Yosemite Yellowstone and large famous parks. Pennsylvania, though not on the top of the list has other attractions that you should be aware of.

Most state parks are open seasonal. Pennsylvania has three state parks that are open year round. These parks include Little Pine, Promised Land, and Ole Bull. Since this location is in the upper northeast, these parks get a taste of all the different seasons.

At Promised Land State Park you can go fishing on the 422 acre Promised Lake, then visit in  the winter and ice fish. There is more to do in the winter then you might think. There is  twenty three miles of snowmobile trails and hundreds of trails for cross country skiing. And  not to worry, you won’t have to pitch a camp tent in the snow and cold, cabins are also available.

Seasonal parks in Pennsylvania have other attractions. Among these seasonal state parks are Parker Dam, Shawnee, Prince Gallitzin, Champan, Gifford Pinchot, Pine Grove Furnace and the large Pymatuning. Tourist and avid campers alike flock to Pymatining State Park. It is one of the most visited parks in Pennsylvania. This maybe due to is vast size of 21, 122 acres and its reservoir that is over 17, 000 acres. Both being some of the biggest Pennsylvania state parks have to offer.

Before any camper voyages to their campsite, they must know the rules and regulations. Pennsylvania parks have textbook rules. These are rules such as no unauthorized fires, this is a for obvious reasons. No alcoholic beverages are allowed at the campsites or the state parks. This may be a bad thing for a few campers, though there are plenty of campsites outside of the state parks where having alcohol is legal. On the up side, the state parks allows pets on premise as long as it is a dog, cat or small caged animal.

Another large attraction for campers is the elk ranges. This is state land that the elk are free to roam and graze about. An elk is much bigger then a deer. A typical male elk can reach a thousand pounds.

Hunting and game options offered on state parks if you have proper paperwork and its the right season. Game animals include grouse, whitetail deer, pheasant and wild turkey. Black bears and coyotes are native to the land. Be sure not to leave out any food around the campsites.

Camping in New England can be truly an appreciated adventure when you go during the height of the fall foliage. While it is true that you can go camping elsewhere during those fall months and watch the leaves change, there is something more vibrant and crisper about the changing leaves in New England. Whether you have ever previously witnessed the changing leaves in any of these historically rich and naturally beautiful states or you are just looking for the best campsites ever, this is the trip for you.

Be prepared to meet some of the nicest and friendliest locals you will ever find. New England is a place where the rest of the world is welcome to visit, learn, and partake of the lifestyle that is most definitely uniquely country and steeped long in tradition. Camping in New England means coming face to face with people and nature that can literally be so stunning that it can change your perspective on life forever.

There are simple fairs, like pumpkin festivals and sheep and wool festivals to all out  Oktoberfest fairs that bring out the beer drinker in all of us. Much of New England still  experiences the country life, and their country fairs are a tribute to the simple life that  brings about good times.

Vacationing in the Europe has changed a great deal over the years and if you should decide to camp in France you will not be disappointed. You will find a great many very well equipped facilities. Mobile homes and family tents are luxurious to say the least and site offer everything the holiday maker needs to have relaxing and entertaining time.

Relaxing and being entertained is easy when you are in France, they cater for a huge tourist industry, and many very attractive camp sites in both country and coastal setting are available. Moving from site to site when you are camping is also easy, you just pack up and move to a newer more beautiful place.

Well maintained and organized campsites in France provide campers with tons of facilities to make their stay a pleasant one, and they are very good value for money too. If you are careful how you choose your site when you camp in France, you should be able to find a good one that will allow you access to the coastline and the countryside, so that you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

All areas of France cater for campers, from the Alps to the Vendee, and even the Cote d’Azure! Take Granny and Granpa with you as well as the kids, and make it a real family holiday.

Take for instance the coast of Gascony and Royan, these areas are famous for long sandy beaches, high dunes, and even pine forests, a strange eclectic mixture of landscapes. Congnac vineyards dot the slopes of the River Charente valley and Royan is a popular choice for many campers. The forest of La Coubre surround this area, making it extremely picturesque, and the Island of Oléron, with its ancient citadel may be reach by bridge, this isle also has excellent beaches.

Great seafood and wine are served in the many restaurants that cater to families and if you save money camping, then you can eat out with the best of them. No cooking for you! If you really want to taste some good wines, a visit to the Médoc peninsula is highly recommended when you visit the Royan.

Just south of Bordeaux, you also find one of the most important oyster farming regions in the whole of France. Yes oysters are farmed, but perhaps in not the conventional sense! If you visit this area, leave the kids to organized camp site activities and take time out to sample the wines, this is an outing you will never forget.

The Favorites Of Camping Food

Going camping can be extremely fun. It’s a time in the outdoors. It’s a time to connect with  nature. It’s a time to get the whole family away from the television and the telephone. The big task of each day is cooking the camping food  though. You need things that are pretty simple and don’t require much to make them.

The first thing that works wonders is foil paper when you are camping. This helps the camp food from  burning. It’s also a great way to add flavor without losing the flavor. Never leave home  without this.

Something we loved to have also while we camped was popcorn. You listen to ghost stories and  as you are entranced by the story teller you are eating popcorn that was popped in aluminum  foil. It’s also nice in having the pokers that you can place things like hotdogs and marshmallows  on to roast are beneficial as well. Make sure that they extend so that you aren’t burning  yourself.

Of course you can do grilled corn on the cob. Again, wrap it in foil paper and you can have  the best corn on the cob for camping food. Add a few ingredients. You’ll love it. It is so  sweet and juicy and all you need is a campfire and then some foil and something for you to  hold it over the fire. Not bad eh?

Yet another thing that you need for camping food that you also need to get at the grocery  store is popcorn seeds. Many people love popcorn when they are camping out. It’s fun to  watch it pop too. Just buy some powdered butter and you have a nice snack when you get  hungry.

To add to your camping food adventure, you need to find are things to add that you can  just take as a snack or eat quickly. These are things you don’t have to heat up, but does  help like when you hike and all. These are like raisins, nuts, and cereals.

Last, but not least, you need to bring pots and pans. Now, you can’t put this over the  campfire, but they do have portable stoves that you can get. This will allow you to boil  water easily and more. So if you are looking to improve your camping experience and have  great camping food this is how.

With this list and idea of the camping food that you love, you can have whatever you like.  Here are just a few items that the majority of people like. This is including me. So if you  ever wonder what you need, here are some things to start with.

Exciting And Diverse – Camping In Mexico

While camping in Mexico is exhilarating, it can also be very challenging and it is this fact  that makes it such an exciting country to camp in. The area is filled with mystery and  intrigue, and if you are a camping greenhorn, leave Mexico until you have a little more  experience. The last thing you need when on a camping vacation, is to find yourself in the  Chihuahuan Desert, believing you can stop at the next Chevron for bottled water, it aint  going to happen. The only thing you may find is a muddy puddle, or a Gila Monster if you are  lucky.

Planning is essential, and the trip to successful camping is to take everything you need, but not too much! However, no matter how well prepared you are, it is rare that a camping trip to Mexico comes off exactly as planned. If you are the adventurous type, this may just be the vacation you have been longing for!

Yes, prepare for every eventuality, but also be prepared to experience the most amazing  camping opportunities. If you camp in Mexico you will come home with incredible lasting  memories, but to remind you again, this is not for the faint hearted.

You have to be prepared to camp and dress for any conditions, and one night you could be in  the searing dessert and the next in snowy, pine forested mountains. Also important to note is the fact that even though desert conditions are hot during the day, they can drop to extremely low temperatures at night. Even tropical storms are a regular occurrence in this country, so be prepared.

To really enjoy a Mexican camping experience you have to be very flexible and be able to go with the flow. Flexibility is key to your enjoyment of this experience, unpredictability has to embraced,  and carefully laid plans, change at the very last minute.

Making use of a camping checklist is a good idea, as this helps you to take what you need without overdoing it. These are available online, so make use of one. Shop for your luxuries in the US, while shopping in  unfamiliar stores in unfamiliar Mexican towns is fun, if you are a woman and you want a  Hershey bar now, you will be in for a long wait. Nachos can never replace your favorite  chocolate bar.

Never drink tap water, unless you have boiled it or purified it, bottled water is always the safest. Camping with dysentery is no fun; take it from me, the  idiot who ate fresh oysters from Brazilian waters. We all  have to do our bit to protect the environment. Make sure you take toilet paper that is biodegradable.

A medical kit is vital, and if you don’t know what to put in yours, then perhaps you are not practical enough to be camping in Mexico. My mother suggests, anti-diarrhea and nausea  medication, elastoplasts of various sizes, asprin and brandy (her cure all).

Camping In Florida, Sunny Location, Lots To See And Do!

Camping is the ultimate adventure, and camping in the state of  Florida is inexpensive as well as great fun. You have one initial outlay of expense, when you purchase your camping gear and thereafter it should give you many years of service. The expense factor is what draws many adventurers to camping, but they also enjoy it as a way of going on vacation more often than you might normally be able to afford. Camp site fees are not expensive and you don’t have to be a certain type of person to enjoy this kind of holiday.

Close to Pensacola, Fort Walton and Panama City, Milton is the ideal city to make your base to explore these areas. Nearby to Milton, you will find one of the most beautiful National Parks, the Blackwater River State Park, and this is a nature lovers hot spot. It is situated only 15 miles away from the city, has great facilities in the camping grounds and visitors are able to enjoy pristine riverside nature at its very best. This National park is fantastic for swimming, fishing and kayaking.

The Gulfarium in Fort Walton is a must see if you are visiting the area. This is an aquarium, and a great place to learn about the see creatures who inhabit the Florida coast and wetlands. Remember this is the state where you find the Florida Keyes. The dolphins and sea Lions are very entertaining and the creatures of the aquarium are very interesting.

Why {many people choose} camps? What it is all about camps and especially winter camps?
Do you want a challenge? Is your team or crew up for the task? Then all you need to do is visit a winter camp. It’s not your average holiday camp that just keeps you and your family happy. This is the ultimate test of your skills and endurance levels. This camp is not for the weaklings, so go only if you feel upto the challenge.
 
A winter camp will involve mountain climbing, rigorous hiking, makeshift lodging and many other activities that will bring out a side of you which you never thought you had. Since whose hands you put your comfort in is obviously a difficult choice, there are several businesses created for the sole purpose of helping you make that decision. These organizations provide campers with the expertise and guidance required in what could be a dangerous day out. What most of these organizations provide are the basic infrastructure and ground work needed for you to have a fun but demanding experience of a lifetime.
